LUCAS

LUCAS is a dancer from Taguig. Lucas has professionally been training in dance since the age of 12 but has been dancing his heart out since he was 5! He started his dance training as a ballet major under Philippine Highschool for the Arts. In his 6 years of schooling there, he has experienced a multitude of dance performances ranging from Ballet to Contemporary, to even tap dance. He has been mentored by many National artists such as Nonoy Froilan, Jeng Halili, and Liza Macuja. Other notable feats during his time in High School was becoming a finalist in the CCP Dance Competition in 2018 and winning as the Champion during the Dance Surge 4 Inter-high school dance competition, under the Contemporary Solo Division. His win rewarded him a full scholarship to study in the College of Saint Benilde, a frontline arts school in the Philippines. 

After spending a year training for dance in Benilde, he found a bigger opportunity abroad to study dance in the first ever performing arts school in the Mena region of the UAE, Sharjah Performing Arts Academy. he has further sharpened his skills in dance and in the professional dance scene abroad.
