HISTORY
OUR STORY
KAHIDA ALPHA or KHD was birthed in 2013. Our founder had started the idea upon seeing the lack of Filipino representation despite the abundance of talent the country had to offer. She had also observed that most of the neighboring Asian countries had such celebrated entertainment industries and was determined to ensure that the Philippines was next in line to join the fray.
In a span of a decade, it had finally been set in motion through the help and trust of a talented circle of individuals - performers, managers, and industry professionals gathered from her own circle of family, friends, and her network developed from her activities as a member of the Filipino hip-hop collective, NEVERMORE.
The pandemic had pushed the launch of KHD's first project in 2022 where it also plans the brand launch to the public. Currently, KHD operates through live events.
This is a creation of artists who have the power to create something new. We aim to test the limits of our connections, experience, the power of the internet, and fandom culture to soar higher than what it would be like when signed to a traditional entertainment company or label.
KAHIDA ALPHA aims to create a roster of spectacularly talented individuals from the Philippines who are able to express their creativity and artistry as a unit whilst having the freedom to perform in other branches of their respective specialties. Managed by artists for artists, the individuals that compose the team are already part of the current Filipino entertainment industry and therefore have the necessary resources and experience to thrust this project into the modern market powered by social media and fandom culture.
